Indians Light Up The Scoreboard With 13-9 Win
PASCO, Wash. — The Spokane Indians picked up their third win in a row Monday night, beating the Tri-City Dust Devils 13-9 in Pasco.
The Dust Devils got off the a fast start, jumping ahead 7-1 after three innings. Spokane worked their way back with steady offense, going ahead for good in the sixth. Pitcher Cliff Springston picked up the win for the Tribe. Eric Fry lead the team with 4 RBI. Matt West added three, including a home run.
The win boosts Spokane’s record to 35-12, and keeps them with a five game lead over Boise in the Northwest League East standings. The two teams wrap up their series Tuesday night, before Spokane returns Wednesday for a five game homestand against the Vancouver Canadians.
