Icy winter roads send car into Spokane River

SPOKANE, Wash. — Slick roads sent a car sliding into the Spokane River on Tuesday.

Spokane Police say the car slid off E. Upriver Drive, just before the Jamboree Disc Golf Course.

The driver made it out safely and was treated for minor injuries.

Spokane Police are at the scene while the car is removed from the water.
