New Release Picks: ‘The Many Saints of Newark,’ ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage,’ ‘Diana: The Musical,’ and more!

This week there are a few interesting movies to get into, ranging from the Sopranos prequel The Many Saints of Newark which is in theaters and on HBO Max, The Guilty, an adaptation of a Swedish thriller set entirely in a 911 dispatch center which is on Netflix, and Diana: The Musical, which does exactly what it says on the tin, and also hits Netflix today.

It’s the first of five episodes set for October so we’re using the new theatrical release, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, as a springboard to talk about our favorite examples of the “body horror” sub-genre.

Then, finally, we take a look at the latest movie news.

You can find links to all the movies they talk about in the show notes right here.
