Home Depot hiring 100 associates in Spokane
SPOKANE, Wash. — Home Depot is hiring an additional 100 employees at its Spokane location to assist with operational changes made in the wake of COVID-19.
According to a release, the company is hiring associates for in-store and distribution centers.
Newly hired in-store associates will help reinforce social distancing measures, support overnight freight, and fill online and curbside pickup orders.
Employees hired to work in the distribution center will load products, operate forklifts and more.
Home Depot has implemented added safety measures and expanded associate benefits to support employees during the pandemic.
The company introduced temporary benefits, including an additional $50 per week for part-time associates and double overtime. Those benefits are available to new hires, it reads in the release.
