Home damaged in Airway Heights house fire
A home in Airway Heights sustained significant damage after a fire Friday morning.
The fire started just before 4 a.m. in Pirates Court, near the intersection of Highway 2 and Flint Road.
The fire was spotted by someone walking by who then called 911.
Crews quickly knocked down the fire, but they say there is extensive damage to the second story and backside of the home.
Two cats were rescued from the home and no one was injured.
