The Mt. Spokane girls advance to the 3A district title

SPOKANE, Wash. — High school basketball seasons are coming to the grand finale, but first, district tournaments are heating up.

Mt. Spokane girls took down Hermiston in the girls 3A district 8 semifinals, 43-35 to advance to the championship at the Toyota Center Feb. 21st.

The Freeman boys won 53-40 over Newport behind 19 points from Kaleb Ohler. The Scotties advance to the district title on Feb.19 against Deer Park.

Medical Lake fell three points short against the Stags, who will face Freeman Wednesday after a 69-66 win.

Finally, the East Valley girls advanced past Pullman with a 69-53 win.
