Here kitty, kitty: Largest cougar ever tagged in WA state

Wildlife biologists have caught and tagged a massive 197-pound cougar this week. It’s believed to be the largest cat ever tagged in Washington state.

Researchers with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife captured the cougar in Pend Oreille County on Monday and fitted it with a GPS collar as part of their Predator-Prey Research Project. Its head was a massive 22 inches in circumference
