Here are some summer activity options provided by Spokane Public Schools

SPOKANE, Wash. — This summer, Spokane Public Schools is providing different options for your children to participate in.

Sports Camps

For starters, high schools across Spokane will be hosting sports camps for children ages K through 12. Ferris High School, Lewis & Clark High School, North Central High School, Shadle Park High School and Rogers High School will hold a variety of sports for children to participate in, including basketball, volleyball, football and more.

Registration for the sports camp is required and can be completed in person, by mail to the respective high school’s business office or online at www.spokaneschools.org

People will need to fill out a COVID-19 disclosure and release form. That form and more information on the different sports camps can be found HERE.

SPS Camp Imagine

Camp Imagine consists of one-week camps for 1st to 5th graders to participate in activities involving creative writing, math, science, art and much more. The camps will run the weeks of June 27-20, July 11-14 and July 18-21. The camps are at Browne, Garfield, Holmes, Adams and Willard Elementary schools.

Camps will run from 8 a.m to noon. Registration information can be found HERE.

Shaw Summer Program for Pre-K through 8th grade

Shaw Summer School will be hosting free summer camps for children Pre-K to 8th grade. From June 21 to July 14, Monday to Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m., students can participate in sports and recreation activities, STEM activities and more.

Free breakfast and lunch is available to campers, and transportation will be provided from the NE elementary schools.
