Heading over the mountains this weekend? Prepare for snow

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane saw a light dusting of snow early Saturday morning, and there’s more where that came from.

Heavy snow is expected in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service. Make sure to prepare for snow travel if you’re driving over Snoqualmie, Stevens, or Lookout passes.

Sun will start to peek through the clouds Sunday, with nicer weather forecasted heading into next week.
