Gonzaga men’s soccer falls to Michigan 1-0 in first-ever matchup
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — In the first-ever matchup between the two programs, the Gonzaga men’s soccer team fell to the Michigan Wolverines 1-0 on Sunday.
Both teams were held scoreless for 82 minutes of the game before Michigan’s Christian Pulselli scored, giving the Wolverines the 1-0 victory.
GU’s Logan Dorsey had two shots on the day, one of which was on goal. Senior Demitrius Kigeya also took two shots in the game, as the team was able to get six shots off in Sunday’s match.
The Wolverines took 14 shots on the day, with the lone shot on goal resulting in a victory for Michigan.
GU continues their road trip next week, as they take on California Baptist on Thursday, September 1.
