Gonzaga lands 5-star recruit Jalen Suggs

The wait is over and the No. 1 ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs got their point guard as 5-star recruit Jalen Suggs announces he is headed to Spokane next year.

Suggs is the number six overall ranked high school player in the 2020 class according to ESPN.com, and has been ranked as high as the number one rated point guard in the nation.

Suggs had narrowed his decision down to five schools but chose Gonzaga over Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, and Minnesota.

Gonzaga was the favorite going into his announcement, however some thought Suggs could join others in playing professionally overseas for a year then going in the N-B-A draft.
