Gonzaga clinches WCC regular season title with bounce-back win

SPOKANE, Wash. — For only the second time this season the no. 3 Gonzaga Bulldogs had to bounce back after a loss, and they were successful Thursday night with a 94-59 win over visiting San Diego.

Filip Petrusev led the way once again on offense scoring 21 points and adding 9 rebounds.

Corey Kispert added 16 points, and point guard Ryan Woolridge had a big night with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

With the win the Zags wrap up another regular season title in the West Coast Conference.

Before the game the Zags honored former great Adam Morrison by putting his jersey in the rafters of the McCarthey Athletic Center.

The final game of the regular season will be Saturday at home against Saint Mary’s.
