Get ready for summer adventures at the Spokane Great Outdoors & Bike Expo
SPOKANE, Wash. — The third annual Spokane Great Outdoors and Bike Expo is happening at the Spokane Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday.
The event will see 70+ exhibitors set up to cover everything from outdoor activities like ziplining. You can learn about local trails and means to get you there, with items like paddle boards, canoes and mountain bikes.
The centerpiece of the expo will be an REI campground, where attendees can roast marshmallows and listen to free educational clinics to help you navigate the world outside your home.
An outdoor dog fashion show is happening Sunday at 3pm. Owners are invited to deck out their dogs in outdoor gear – a sweater or funky boots. There will be a catwalk and judges, and the best will walk away with prizes. If you’d like to enter your dog, click here. Walk-in entries will not be allowed.
Tickets for the expo are $12 at the door and $8 online. Purchasing tickets in advanced will give attendees the chance to receive an adventure deal, like discounted passes to Silver Mountain Bike Park, ziplining tours, paddleboard rentals and a local rock wall gym. You can find out about those here.
The expo will be held Saturday, February 23 from 9am to 5pm. Sunday, you can visit the expo from 10am to 4pm.
