Geiger Work Crew Inmate walks away from work detail
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Geiger Work Crew Inmate who walked away from his assigned work detail at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds Wednesday.
Devontay J. Hood, 21, walked away from his assigned work detail mowing grass at the fairgrounds at around 1:10 Wednesday afternoon.
Spokane Valley Deputies searched the area, but were unable to find Hood.
Hood, who has been assigned to the work crew since the beginning of March, was in custody for a misdemeanor traffic offense.
Hood is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, who weighs around 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
