SPOKANE, Wash. — The Garland Street Fair is set to return in August 2020.

The 2019 event was canceled, ultimately because of the fair’s success. Julie Shepard Hall with the Garland Business District told 4 News Now at the time that the event had gotten too big without the right amount of help, making it too difficult to put on.

The fair brings vendors, live music and a car show to the Garland District annually. It shuts down several stretes, but draws hundreds of attendees to the neighborhood.

Shepard Hall said this year’s event is still in the planning phase, but is set for August 15.
