Gadget Guy: The Peek
SPOKANE — A new emailing device is set to hit stores soon and KXLY4’s Gadget Guy, Johnny 5, isn’t impressed.
The Peek is a handheld device geared toward the tech not-so-savvy. It can send and receive email only and can take up to ten minutes to deliver your mail.
The device is $100 and then $20 per month.
Johnny 5 suggests getting a Blackberry, Palm, or PDA instead of the Peak. The devices he recommends can send and receive emails plus much more.
The Peek will be sold first at Target stores on September 15 and will eventually be sold nationwide.
