Friday Night Sports Extra: Exciting night of hoops in Idaho
Alex and Julian return for another basketball edition of Friday Night Sports Extra.

The Bengals held their ground, as Carson Way pulled up for a tough jumper and sinks it. But Lake City’s tempo was hard for Coeur d’Alene to compete with, as Lake City could come away with the win.
FINAL SCORE: Lake City 66 Lewiston 46
In other action, the Coeur d’Alene Vikings took on the Post Falls Trojans. The Vikings were coming off a tough loss last Friday to Lake City.
It was back and forth for a lot of the game, but the Vikings would come out on top and secure the victory and move to 11-4 on the year.
FINAL SCORE: Coeur d’Alene 62 Post Falls 50
In the girls matchup between Lake City and Lewiston, the 5th-ranked Timberwolves welcomed Lewiston to their home court. The Bengals were down big at the start of the second half, but Reese DeGroot lead the charge, hitting big shots.
But Lake City’s offense was too much, showing off their range and hitting big shots.
FINAL SCORE: Lake City 76 Lewiston 45
In Post Falls, the lady Trojans hosted one of the top teams in the state as they battled it out against Coeur d’Alene. In the first quarter of play, Teagan Colvin finds Madison Symons for the layup, and the Vikings kept scoring from there, eventually running away with the game.
