Free events in Spokane to help connect community to Medicare experts

SPOKANE, Wash. — With this year’s Medicare Annual Enrollment period coming up, it’s important to connect those who qualify for the program with experts who can help.
That’s why Community Health Plan of Washington is hosting two free events in Spokane to help answer the public’s questions on Medicare.
These events hope to inform locals about:
- The different parts of Medicare
- How eligibility, premiums, deductibles and copays work
- Prescription drug coverage
- How to get additional benefits like dental or vision
These events are aimed at those who qualify for the federal health insurance program: Washingtonians who are 65 years old or older, and those under 65 years old living with a disability or living with End-Stage Renal Disease.
The events will be on October 19 and November 2 from 10-11 a.m. at the CHAS Health Maple Street Clinic.
