Franks will return to WSU for senior season

PULLMAN, Wash — In what has been a tumultuous off-season for the Washington State University basketball team, some good news came Wednesday; forward Robert Franks announced he’s returning for his senior season.
Franks had explored the NBA Draft process, but didn’t hire an agent; that frees him up to return to collegiate competition.

Franks led WSU in scoring, averaging 17.4 points per game. He also shot .410 from beyond the arc. He was named the Pac-12 Most Improved Player and received all-conference honorable mention honors.
“We are glad Robert got the opportunity to test the NBA waters,” WSU head coach Ernie Kent said in a news release Wednesday. “We are excited to have him back for his senior season and continue to contribute to this program.”
WSU has lost several players to the transfer market this off-season.
