Former Ferris HS coach pleads guilty to sex with underage girls, could face 22 years

SPOKANE, Wash. — A former Ferris assistant football coach pleaded guilty to two sex crimes in federal court on Wednesday.
Charles Eglet said he was guilty of convincing a 15-year-old girl to meet him for sex in Northern Quest parking lot in August 2018.
He also admitted to recording himself having sex with a 14-year-old girl earlier that summer.
Eglet’s lawyers agreed to a 22-year sentence, but a district court judge will have the final say in May.
Eglet will have to register as a sex offender for at least 20 years after he’s released from prison.
