Foggy conditions Friday morning create slick roads! – Emily

SPOKANE, Wa. — We begin our Black Friday with dense fog across the region. This has led to some black ice in areas, creating very slick road conditions. If you’re out and out hoping to score the best holiday deals, make sure you’re taking it easy on the roads! Temperatures will climb into the upper-30s this afternoon and rain will move into the region around 3:00 PM. As it continues into the evening hours, we could see it transition to snow once temperatures fall back into the lower-30s. If there is any accumulation from this, it won’t be much. Clear conditions for Saturday but then a second system moves through on Sunday. We’ll see gusty winds & heavy snowfall, particularly in the mountains. You can expect winter weather driving conditions in every pass within our region. Do your absolute best to avoid travel on Sunday.
