Fog, flurries and a COLD Friday evening – Kris
What we’re tracking
We are tracking cold air settling in for the weekend along with some low clouds and fog. We are also tracking a storm system passing by to our south late Sunday. There’s a slight chance it could send some light snow our way.
Plan your Saturday
You’ll want to bundle up if you’re heading out on Saturday to pick out the family Christmas tree, put up your holiday lights or do some skiing. You will wake up Saturday morning to temperatures in the low double digits. Expect areas of patchy freezing fog, and possibly even an isolated snow flurry. Temperatures will only reach the mid-20s for highs, which is about 10 degrees below average.
Spokane and Coeur d’Alene forecast
Dry and cold weather will continue through the forecast. There’s no sign of any significant snow events through the start of next workweek, however, occasional flurries are possible as well as some light snow Sunday evening. Expect low clouds and fog with occasional sunshine Saturday and Sunday. The potential for accumulating snow is back in the forecast by Thursday and Friday,
