Five initiatives to improve the Greater Spokane Valley to be unveiled

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Five initiatives intended to move the Greater Spokane Valley region forward will be unveiled at The BIG 5 Reveal event on Friday, September 25. The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at CenterPlace Regional Event Center.

The public is welcome and there is no charge to attend, but RSVPs are requested. They can be made at spokanevalleychamber.org.

‘The BIG 5,’ launched by the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, is a community engagement effort implemented in partnership with ThoughtExchange, to identify community-wide initiatives to stimulate community vitality and nurture economic prosperity for the Greater Spokane Valley region.

The BIG 5 process included three community engagement steps: first, community members were invited to participate online by responding to three questions; then, community members ranked responses gathered in the first step through an online ranking process; and finally, key stakeholders gathered together to drill down the common themes of those responses and identify the five revealing initiatives.
