Festival at Sandpoint Grand Finale will start earlier due to weather

SANDPOINT, Idaho — The Festival at Sandpoint announced Saturday that its Grand Finale Concert will start an hour and a half ealier than scheduled due to weather.
The concert, which was originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, will now start at 6 p.m.
It features the Spokane Symphony and special guests Sybarite5.
Festival organizers said the change was made out of concern for the symphony’s musicians and instruments.
“The symphony’s instruments are sensitive to extremes in hot and cool temperatures, and as such, this is part of our contract with the musicians,” said Executive Director Diana Wahl.
“We are responding to this valid concern with a desire to still present the planned program.”
