Excelsior Fire at 80 percent containment, evacuations lifted
SPOKANE, Wash. — Evacuations have been lifted for people living near the Excelsior Fire.
The fire is 80 percent contained. Crews will be back out on Friday to finish mopping up the fire.
The fire burned 10-20 acres. No homes or structures were damaged. Crews say the fire started from the breaks of a trailer.
Road Closures:
Both northbound lanes of Highway 195 are open, and at last check, one southbound lane is open.
It is unknown if Hatch Rd is still closed.
