A former Clark County corrections deputy accused of sexual misconduct involving a female inmate is facing new charges relating to a separate incident.

The Columbian reports that 30-year-old Christopher North pleaded not guilty Wednesday to voyeurism and indecent exposure. North, who remains free on bail, appeared in Clark County Superior Court.

He previously pleaded not guilty to indecent liberties and custodial sexual misconduct in a July 11 incident.

The new charges stem from a March 29 encounter with a female inmate. Court documents accuse him of exposing himself to the woman.

According to court documents, North denied knowing the woman or exposing himself to her. He reportedly told a detective that he communicated with several female inmates online after they were released from jail.

The Clark County Sheriff’s office put North on administrative leave in July and fired him in August.
