Evening Forecast for March 22
SPOKANE, Wash. — Showers with embedded thunderstorms will move through the region Thursday evening producing brief heavy rain, gusty outflow boundary winds, and occasional lightening.
These showers and thunderstorms are in association with a cold front sliding through the area. The area will dry out later this evening, with partly cloudy skies and lows in the 30s.
On Friday, expect cooler weather with a mix of sun and clouds, some afternoon rain or snow showers, and a high in the mid 40s.
Snow showers on Saturday could produce some impressive mountain snow accumulations, and snow is likely in the valleys as well. However, it will easily melt as our highs stay in the mid 40s.
On Sunday, high pressure begins building in. Expect drier weather and a warming trend next week.
