Two killed, one injured in I-90 crash near Kellogg

KELLOGG, Idaho — Two people were killed in a crash on I-90 near Kellogg early Wednesday morning.
Idaho State Police said three people were driving westbound in a Nissan Maxima, when it went into the median and crossed over to the eastbound lane. A semi driving eastbound hit the Nissan, ejecting two of the passengers.
Tony Allen, 49, of Spokane Valley and 25-year-old Jade Martin of Las Vegas were killed in the crash. The rear passenger, 37-year-old Jennifer Petek of Suquamish, was trapped in the back of the car before being rescued and taken to Kootenai Health. Her condition is not known.
ISP said neither Allen, nor Martin were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, but Petek was.
The semi driver and his passenger were not injured in the crash.
