Eastern To Play Football Home Game In Seattle
CHENEY — The Eastern Washington football team will play one of its home games at Qwest Field in Seattle next season.
The Eagles will play Portland State on Halloween Day.
It’s believed to be the first time in Eastern’s 100-year football history that it will play a game in Seattle. The school hopes to lure many of its 2,500 alumni living in Western Washington to the game.
Eastern will also play home games against Western Oregon, Northern Colorado, Weber State and Montana State next season. Their big non-conference game is at California.
