Eastbound lanes of Snoqualmie Pass reopened after several spin-outs, crashes

KITTITAS CO., Wash — The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) have reopened eastbound lanes of Snoqualmie Pass after several spin-outs had blocked the road.

The pass was reopened around noon, but had previous been closed off at North Bend. Chains are required on all vehicles except those with all wheel drive.

Heavy snow has been falling on the pass for several days. Sunday morning, crews reported nearly three and a half feet of new snow in the last two days.
