Dust Storm Warning issued along I-90 west of Ritzville

SPOKANE, Wash.– A dust storm responsible for car accidents in Grant County earlier in the day is moving into the I-90 corridor Thursday afternoon.
The National Weather Service has issued a Dust Storm Warning through 3:45 p.m. for parts of Adams, Grant, and Lincoln Counties.
Weather satellites are picking up a large column of dust, shaded in pink, stretching from northern Grant County to the Krupp area southeast across I-90 to Lind in Adams County. Visibility on I-90, State Highway 21, and US Highway 395 in Adams County may drop to less than 1/4 of a mile.
Travel is not recommended between Moses Lake and Ritzville on I-90 and Lind north to Othello on Highway 21 until conditions improve. If you must travel, use extreme caution.
