Doyle K. Ireland

Doyle K. Ireland, 68, a resident of Onaway, ID passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at his Onaway, ID home.

Doyle was born on July 24, 1951, at Moscow, ID to James and Clarice (Gudmunson) Ireland. Doyle attended the Potlatch schools and graduated from the Potlatch High School in 1970.

Doyle joined the United States Army and served in Vietnam.

Doyle was married and later divorced.

Doyle worked as a logger most of his life and worked for Bob Normington Logging and retired in 2012. Doyle later drove grain truck for R.C. Jones trucking for about 4 years.

Doyle met Lorena Schaeffer, and they were companions for about 9 years and made their home in Onaway, ID.

Doyle enjoyed camping, fishing, and his cat Mystery. Doyle was a tinkerer, working on cars, and woodworking. Doyle was a member of the Potlatch Post #10300 Veteran of Foreign Wars, and the Potlatch Lions Club.

Survivors include his companion Lorena Schaeffer, Onaway, ID, two sons, Deakin Ireland (Nicole), Caldwell, ID, Shad McMichael, Salmon, ID, two daughters, Mandy Ireland, Round Rock, TX, Kara Ozen (Kerem) Austin, TX, one brother, Doug Miller (Theresa) Portland, OR, three sisters, Dorothy Davis (Floyd) Kent, WA, Darlene Robinette, Moscow, ID, Delores Miller, Bremerton, WA. Doyle is also survived by 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis, and Donnie Miller, sister, Nancy Ireland, a son Pat McMichael, and one grandson.

A memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at Kramer Funeral Home, Palouse, WA with Pastor Kathy Kramer officiating. Military honors will be conducted at a later date.
