Downtown Spokane shooting suspect to be released, police say

SPOKANE, Wash. — The 19-year-old suspected of shooting two men at a downtown Spokane apartment complex on Tuesday is being released from jail, according to Spokane Police.

Police said on Friday Trey Galloway is being released of his own recognizance.

According to court records, Spokane Police officers quickly responded to the shooting at an apartment near Sacred Heart on Tuesday night. They found two men, ages 19 and 20, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Galloway was arrested hours later in North Idaho.

Police said they are still investigating, and have not given further detail into Galloway’s release.

The condition of the victims is unknown.
