Double Murder Suspect Stops Talking
SPOKANE — Double murder suspect Justin Crenshaw has stopped talking to his defense attorney.
In documents filed with the court late last week it was revealed that Crenshaw refuses to discuss specifics of his case with members of the public defender’s office anymore. Crenshaw charges that someone from the office leaked information about his case to a blogger.
The documents say that a blog appeared soon after the murders and someone posted information the blogger claimed came for an investigator in the case.
Crenshaw has been jailed since February on charges he stabbed Sarah Clark and Tanner Pehl to death.
He also claims there is a conflict of interest because a supervisor in the public defender’s office has close ties to the family of one of the victims.
Crenshaw now wants to present his concerns to a judge himself during a hearing on July 8th.
