Disney set to release ‘Hamilton’ movie in 2021
NEW YORK CITY — In a tweet Monday, Disney announced the October 2021 release of a movie version of the popular musical “Hamilton.”
The movie will be released October 15, 2021 and will feature the musical’s original Broadway cast, starring Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton.
“Hamilton” will be filmed on the stage of the Richard Rodgers Theater on Broadway and screened at theaters across the country.
