Direct flights between Spokane and Los Angeles officially take off

SPOKANE, Wash. — Alaska Airlines’ inaugural direct flight from Spokane to Los Angeles took off on Tuesday.
The airline announced in August it would offer nonstop flights between the two cities twice daily.
The new flights depart from Spokane International Airport at 7 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Returning flights from Los Angeles take off at 9:30 a.m. and 8:05 p.m.
Starting in March, Alaska will also offer daily nonstop flights between Spokane and San Francisco.
