Deputies looking for other potential victims of ‘photographer’ accused of trying to steal baby

Woman accused of posing as a photographer to steal babies

PIERCE CO., Wash. — The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is looking for other potential victims of a woman they arrested on Friday who they say was posing online as a newborn photographer in an attempt to steal babies.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the 38-year-old woman was posing as a photographer on multiple online accounts under the names “Juliette Parker,” “Juliette Noel” and “Juliette Gains.”

Deputies say a woman called 911 on February 5, asking for help because she was sick. The woman told deputies she was afraid she’d been drugged by the other woman.

She had found the suspect through a newborn baby group on Facebook, where she was offering to take baby photos for free.

Deputies say the suspect came to the woman’s house three separate times, during which she was seen taking selfies with the baby and wiping her fingerprints off things she touched in the home.

On her third visit, the suspect and her daughter allegedly offered the woman a cupcake. Immediately after eating it, the woman told deputies she felt drowsy and told the suspect and her daughter to leave the home.

It wasn’t until after they left the woman realized her house keys were missing.

After an extensive investigation, deputies learned there were additional victims. They also found enough evidence to believe the suspect was planning to steal a newborn baby to raise as her own.

They arrested the suspect and her daughter on multiple felony charges at their home in Spanaway.

Now, detectives are asking for other potential victims to step forward. In a release to Facebook, the sheriff’s office asked for anyone who has been contacted by the suspect to call 253-798-7724.
