…DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING…

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory…which is in effect until 10 PM PST this evening.

* Visibilities…One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing…This afternoon and evening…including the evening
commute.

* Impacts…Dense fog will result in rapid changes to visibility
making travel difficult. Commuters should use low beam
headlights and allow extra time to reach their destination.

* Locations…Sandpoint, Rathdrum, Bonners Ferry, Priest River,
Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Spokane, Davenport, Colville,
Deer Park, Chewelah, Newport, and Kettle Falls.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving…slow down…
use your headlights…and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
