Deaf, blind puppy from Spokane Valley wins Puppy Bowl MVP

You could say this puppy really tackles life’s challenges. Born deaf and blind, Bumble was rescued from a shelter in Oklahoma City and brought to the Double J Dog Ranch in North Idaho.

Bumble was adopted by a family in Spokane Valley, and Sunday they watched her compete in the Puppy Bowl. Bumble won MVP and is the first special needs dog to receive the award.

Bumble’s owner, Cindy Schmitt says, “Bumble is amazing. She’s the smartest, funnest, most loving dog I think we’ve ever had. She’s a totally normal puppy.”

Bumble’s owners hope she will inspire other dog lovers to help disabled dogs.

I was so excited to meet Bumble ❤️ this Spokane Valley pup is deaf AND blind. She’s also this year’s Puppy Bowl MVP! The first special needs dog to ever win the award. #kxly pic.twitter.com/iEqulPk636
