Dead body found inside a car on South Freya and East 4th

SPOKANE, Wash. — A dead body was found in a car on South Freya Street and East 4th Avenue on Sunday.

Crime Scene Tape is surrounding the car. The Spokane Police Department is on the scene, as they dispatched to the scene just before 9:30 a.m. from a family member’s report.

The cause for the death is unknown.

The SPD Major Crimes Unit is taking over the investigation.
