Daimond Lake gets stocked with 600 large trout for Father’s Day

Fish hatchery crews with the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife will be stocking 10,000 large rainbow trout just before Father’s Day weekend June 20 and 21.

One lake in Pend Oreille County benefit from the stock up of these one and a half pound trout.

According to WDFW, Diamond Lake will receive 600 of these large rainbows.

“These fish will provide anglers with some great opportunities to spend time with friends and family,” said WDFW inland fish program manager Chris Donley. “
