Crews Extinguish Post Falls Warehouse Fire
POST FALLS — Fire crews have extinguished a major structure fire in a warehouse located at 5650 Seltice Way in Post Falls.
The warehouse is home to Ground Force Manufacturing, a company that builds and sells mining and construction support equipment.
Employees reported the fire started in a furnace in one of the buildings on the property and the fire destroyed one workspace before it was knocked down.
Fire crews initially responded to the scene with three alarms due to the potential risk of explosions, but upon arrival they realized the fire was much smaller than anticipated.
One employee from the business was treated for smoke inhalation. Company management refused to comment on the incident.
