Man killed in car fire near Freya and Baltimore, passersby attempted to save him
SPOKANE, Wash. — Officials from Spokane County Fire District 8 confirmed a man died in a vehicle fire near S. Freya Road and S. Baltimore Road.
Authorities said the man was speeding and hit a tree, which sparked the car fire.
A UPS driver and a passerby pulled the man out of the car, but he had already passed away.
First responders have responded to scene and closed both directions of Baltimore.
