Crash near Soap Lake kills one, seriously injures another

SOAP LAKE, Wash. — According to Washington State Patrol, one person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash on SR 17 at milepost 87, about 11 miles north of Soap Lake Thursday morning.

The highway was blocked Thursday while emergency personnel attempted recovery. The highway is now back open.
