Cougars hold steady at No. 8 in fourth release of College Football Playoff rankings

SPOKANE, Wash. — For the fourth consecutive week, the Washington State Cougars sit at No. 8 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
The Cougars debuted at No. 8 in the first release of the rankings on Oct. 30 and have held steady ever since, despite a 41-point victory of the Arizona Wildcats Saturday night.
WSU is ranked No. 7 in both the AP and Coaches polls.
The Washington Huskies and Utah Utes also represent the Pac-12 Conference in the College Football Playoff rankings, coming in at No. 16 and No. 17, respectively.
No. 8 Washington State hosts No. 16 Washington on Friday, November 23 at 5:30 p.m. in the 111th Apple Cup. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
