Cougar defense ready to shine in season opener

PULLMAN, Wash. — Any Mike Leach team will get a lot of attention for their Air Raid offense, but the heightened success over the last few years has been because of a much improved defense. This year’s defensive unit is ready to prove they are not to be overlooked.
