Computer glitch at US Customs causes delays

International travelers across the nation faced big delays Monday night because of a massive computer glitch at Customs and Border Protection.

KOMO News in Seattle spoke with travelers at Sea-Tac who said they arrived at the airport, only to wait hours to leave.

Customs and Border Officials say agents processed international travelers using alternative procedures during the tech disruption.

Finally, after a two hour delay, the system came back on, but the backlog of people made the wait longer.

Other affected airports included JFK, Denver, and Miami.
