We are tracking a weak system for Tuesday which will bring a few flurries to the area in the afternoon. A stronger system Wednesday night into Thursday will bring a better chance of a wintry mix of rain, snow and freezing rain.

The weather has resolved to be a little more mellow to start 2023.  Tuesday will be cloudy with patchy fog.  There is also a slight chance of snow flurries in the afternoon.  For the first time in more than a week, temperatures will stay below freezing in Spokane. After morning lows in the upper teens and low 20s, expect a high of 29°.

The next system will arrive Wednesday night into Thursday. It is expected to bring a mix of light snow, rain and possible freezing rain to the region.  High temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and lower 40s by Thursday. Additional weak systems will bring mainly mountain snow showers to the area through the weekend.
