Coeur D’Alene Tribal School Delayed Two Hours
DeSmet — After closing early Wednesday because of water concerns, Coeur d’Alene Tribal School canceled school Thursday.
Water is very limited in parts of Benewah County and has caused some issues at the school. Having little or no water causes sanitary concerns and the school decided to forego breakfast and delay start time Thursday morning in light of those issues.
However, after being unable to get water flowing to the school, officials canceled school for the day “due to inadequate water and a lack of water pressure.”
The school said that they will keep parents and citizens posted on the state of classes for Friday.
