Coeur d’Alene firefighters, Santa Claus gathering food bank donations

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Coeur d’Alene Firefighters and Santa Claus himself are making their final rounds for Christmas in Quarantine Sunday, picking up donations for the food bank.

Firefighters with IAFF Local 710 are visiting neighborhoods west of Highway 95, north of Hanley and south of Prairie until 6:30 p.m.

So far, they have raised over $2,000 and two tons of food, all going to the Community Action Partnership food bank in Coeur d’Alene.
